The natural color is completely dye-free and unbleached and has specks of beige cotton pieces in it, making for a country-rustic look that is a throwback to simpler times when things were not homogenized to perfect uniformity like today.

Customers who have had allergic reactions to other cotton tops have found that our natural organic cotton solves the problems of psoriasis, eczema, rashes, blisters, and boils from contact dermatitis common with exposure to formaldehyde, dioxin, bleaches, and dyes. Our organic cotton clothing items are GMO-free, bleach-free, dye-free (in natural color), dioxin-free, formaldehyde-free, and pesticide-free.

Made from 7oz 100% organic cotton thermal knit fabric, in the honeycomb - waffle knit pattern. The sleeves have rib cuffs all hems double needle. Note that these 100% organic cotton knit shirts can shrink up to a size, so go up rather than down if between sizes.

Since 1997, we have been getting our cotton from a small certified organic farm in Texas, grown by the same family for over 100 years. For the cotton to be certified organic, the field must have been farmed chemical-free for 3 years. The cotton is ginned at their certified organic gin, and spun into yarn in North Carolina. The products are then sewn for us in South Carolina - for a finished product that is grown and made entirely in the USA.

We are a small company by choice, so that we can continue to make truly organic products sweatshop-free in USA and Europe. As you may know, going big usually means going to China or India where we and our customers would have reservations concerning troubling labor practices and rampant usage of industrial chemicals.

All of our products are made on a small scale with farms and workers that we have worked with since our beginning. This allows us to make innovations like using organic elastic and threads and plastic-free natural buttons developed in-house. And of course there are never any pesticides or industrial chemicals used in growing our fibers or making our products. We serve many chemically sensitive customers, and our world-view has always from the beginning been to protect the environment, animals, and people. That is why we do what we do. And that is why you don’t see greenwashed products such as bamboo and other modern chemical and synthetic fibers at Rawganique.
