This gorgeous rustic character hemp rugs is unbleached & untreated. No formaldehyde, no dioxin, no outgassing, no chemicals.

A time-honored natural insect deterrence approach (moths, for example) is using natural essential oils such as oregano, lavender, cedar wood, peppermint, patchouli. Diffusing a few drops of oil in water and spray. Apply or try on underside, and take care to not saturate the rug in liquid as that would leave water stains.

Our hypoallergenic hemp rugs and carpets are not chemically stain-proofed for a reason (to keep them pure and healthy for people and pets), so please watch out for spills and stains. Rugs will have to cleaned professionally to remove stains.
Most rugs ship with 2 sachets of organic lavender, enclosed in organic hemp sachets.

Care: NOT machine washable. Beat, shake and air to keep fresh. Wool is somewhat naturally stain-resistant because we leave the natural lanolin in. As our natural organic rugs and carpets are not treated with stain resisting chemicals, please be careful not to spill liquids or food on them. If you spill liquid or food on the rug, promptly shake it out and blot with tissue or cloth to absorb the stain. A customer wrote to us that he loved his hemp wool rug so much for his kids and his pets to play on, he doesn't mind that all the spills they make turn the beloved rug into a new Jackson Pollock-like masterpiece. Love the substantial feel - plus no synthetics

I love these rugs. I’ve bought three over the last two years. The orange is beautiful in real life - really brightens up my living room. The green one is in my meditation room - very calming. And the grey one is in my bedroom. I vacuum them out once in a while as I have two cats, who have been good so far - they love sitting on the rug and haven’t taken to scratching them yet (fingers crossed!). I really love that they are 100% natural and synthetic free.

Elegant rug - what a beauty

We are a family of four and we love this rug. It feels so natural and substantial. We got the dappled green color. My wife was clear she didn’t want any synthetic rugs with smelly vinyl backing out of concern for our two young kids who would be playing on it and we searched for a long time until we decided on this rug. Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
