Description

Unique 100% organic hemp ribbed knit blanket. This knit hemp blanket features a year-round weight, and is breathable, insulating, great as a layer. The hemp ribbed knit blanket on naked skin will create the greatest warmth, thanks to hemp's naturally insulating qualify, using your own body heat to keep you cozy. Notes from Rawganique Atelier: raw hemp fiber prices have gone up exponentially over the last few years (and continues to do so). This hemp blanket uses a lot of raw materials (you will notice how heavy it is; we do not use synthetic filler materials to pad our truly natural 100% hemp knit and we continue to process our organic linen and hemp naturally using traditional methods of dew-retting in the fields (this costs a lot more) and mechanically combing the baste fibers into beautiful long strands (all done by us in Europe, not China or India), unlike how it's mostly done now by other manufacturers using acids and chemicals to boil down the hemp and linen, then spinning the resulting broken down fibers like cotton (which makes it cheap to make for homogenized mass production introduces many potentially toxic chemicals into the process). Please treat this special product gently so that you can continue to enjoy it for years to come. It is so beautiful and unique; it's our favorite blanket that we have been making since 1997. Wash on gentle cycle with like colors (preferably in a laundry mesh bag to protect it) using a mild biodegradable detergent. Lay flat to dry and steam iron at linen setting, if desired. Sometimes we tumble our blankets on low / air cycle when it's almost dry to fluff it up a bit. But in general, dryers are not good for natural baste fibers like hemp and linen because it leads to shrinkage and shedding and wears down the integrity of the natural product. | Beautiful heritage hemp ribbed knit. Care
Hand-wash with like colors using a mild, biodegradable detergent. Lay flat to dry. Alternatively, these hemp knit boxers can be washed on gentle/low cycle in a mesh garment bag. Lay flat to dry. Avoid bleach.

Note: Bedspread (Hemp-Linen knit) features decorative macramé edging. Blankets (100% Hemp Knit) have classic plain edging.

A night sweat winner!

I've been in surgical menopause for five months now, and with my previous blanket and sleep shirt, I'd wake up absolutely soaked with sweat. My previous blanket would be wet, and there would actually be a puddle of sweat on top of my shirt. This blanket definitely wicks sweat away during hot flashes, and when I get up, the blanket doesn't feel wet, and neither do I, so I am sleeping much better. When I get my cold flashes, the blanket doesn't seem to insulate me very well, so I feel somewhat chilled, but I may decide to double up on this blanket in the coming months to combat my problems with internal temperature regulation. Since I got this blanket specifically to wick sweat, and not to warm me per se, this is definitely a five-star purchase. I find the blanket to be comfortably soft.

Temp Control

A great blanket for warmer nights where a single sheet would not be warm enough. This blanket also provides a bit of weight that a single sheet cannot provide. Very nice!

Returns & Exchanges

Returns Policy

To exchange an item, please return it for refund per the instructions and conditions below and re-order what you would like instead. There is a 5% restocking fee on returns, but not on exchanges for a different size of the same product.

Most products are returnable in original new condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed) within 30 days of receipt for refund. Between 30 - 60 days from receipt, we may accept returns for store credit, only with explicit prior return authorization by email. After 60 days from receipt returns are not accepted.

Cut fabrics, custom production items and made-to-order bedding items, as well as underwear, mouth masks, and anything washed, worn, scented or soiled, for hygiene and in consideration to chemically sensitive customers, are absolutely not returnable. By ordering online, the customer accepts that the seller alone determines whether a return is in acceptable condition.

For example, sheets and blankets that have been taken out of their packaging and all pillows, mattresses, and comforters are not returnable. For reasons of hygiene and in consideration to chemically-sensitive customers, our pure organic towels are not returnable once opened or used. If you are unsure, please get a wash cloth or hand towel to try out before ordering larger sizes or multiples. Closeout items are marked as such on the product pages, and are also non-returnable.

Shipping is non-refundable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
