We couldn't bring ourselves to put plastic or PVC mouths masks against our nose and skin, so we created these soft and tightly knitted organic cotton face - mouth masks, which have become so protective and useful to us and our customers in so many ways over the years (we started making them in 1997). People use these organic linen face mouth masks while cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, garages, boats, basements, attics, their cars, their pets (especially when cleaning their pets' teeth). Of course, now with COVD-19, these organic cotton face mouth masks have proven to be invaluable. Many customers use them on their own, or with a layer of our organic mask filters/liners or hankies or lint cloths for extra protection. Nurses and doctors have told us they wear our organic cotton face - mouth masks, then put on their N95 masks on top so that their skin touches a soft organic material. From Science Magazine, which interviewed George Gao, Director-General who oversees 2,000 frontline employees at the Chinese Center for Disease Control: "The big mistake in the US and Europe, in my opinion, is that people aren't wearing masks. Care: Boil for 30 seconds to 1 minute to disinfect, clean, and sanitize and hang or lay flat to dry. Please DO NOT do this with plastic, synthetic or chemically treated GMO cotton as it's not safe! Our face masks are 100% natural and organic, that's why they can be sanitized by submerging in boiling water. Steam iron as needed.
