Ocean water is fine. These shorts are not meant for vigorous or extreme sports, as they do not contain stretchy synthetic fibers. Dye-free Natural or biodegradable eco-dyed Indigo. Please read before buying: Do not put these organic linen shorts in the dryer. These shorts are not shrinkage-proof (which would have required the use of PFAs and other forever chemicals, which we never use in our workshop). The new 100% biodegradable organic natural rubber elastic answers the need of our many chemically sensitive customers. It‘s made of 50% certified organic cotton, and 50% organic natural rubber. In that version, there‘s really absolutely zero chemicals involved in the design of this product - from plastic-free Tagua nut button to organic cotton thread to now also natural rubber organic elastic. Fully bio-degradable.
A unique design, our Organic Flax Linen Swim Sports Shorts feature an inside organic linen shorts for support and modesty. These breathable organic linen shorts (great as sports and fitness shorts) are cut on the snug side so they don't hang loose when you go into the water. While they are popular for casual jogging and all kinds of sports like basketball and volleyball, too - any prolonged athletic use should only be in dry condition, and not cause repeated friction between the thighs, as that will wear thin our 100% untreated, natural fiber fabric.
These organic french linen shorts are made in-house at the Rawganique Atelier from start to finish. They feature a buttoned pocket for keys and accessories on the inside right side - the button is carved tagua-nut shell (plastic-free). No side pockets (so no bulge).
The organic linen beach trunks are naturally UV-resistant, breathable, and quick to dry, with the 100% organic linen fiber wicking away moisture to keep your skin dry & healthy.

Linen and hemp both have texture which their aficionados consider beautiful and amazing (that’s what makes them super breathable and fast drying) but if you are used to polyester and plastic fibers or if you need everything smooth and soft please do not buy this item; it’s not for you. We can hardly make enough for people who need them and who need them in new untried on condition. Please choose our organic cotton styles instead as they will be smoother and softer. Exchanges and returns are costly for all, especially to a small family business like ours (we are charged non-refundable credit card fees and merchant fees for every transaction and we don’t get subsidized shipping from the couriers like big businesses do; they pay almost nothing; it’s small businesses and regular folks who subsidize them).
