Our ethical and sustainable organic hemp house shoes are made from 100% unwashed stiff 21oz organic European hemp canvas that we grow, process, and weave specially for such products as this. The insole has a layer of our plush organic cotton fleece. This long-wearing, breathable thick organic hemp canvas is completely untreated, unbleached and undyed. We then handmade the shoes from start to finish at our shoe workshop in Europe.

As many customers will be wearing these eco organic hemp house shoes outside as ground zero hemp shoes or hemp grounding shoes, we double-up the sole with several layers of organic hemp stiff canvas. And we make replaceable hemp insoles that you may purchase in addition to the pair that comes with your shoes.

Returns Policy

If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, open the order (using the ‘Complete Orders’ link under the ‘My Account’ menu) and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed your return.

To exchange an item, please return it for refund and re-order what you would like instead. There is a 5% restocking fee on returns, but not on exchanges for a different size of the same product.

Most products are returnable in original new condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed) within 30 days of receipt for refund.

Cut fabrics, bedding items, as well as underwear, bras, mouth masks, and anything washed, worn, scented or soiled, for hygiene and in consideration to chemically sensitive customers, are absolutely not returnable. By ordering online, the customer accepts that the seller alone determines whether a return is in acceptable condition.

For example, sheets and blankets that have been taken out of their packaging and all pillows, mattresses, and comforters are not returnable. For reasons of hygiene and in consideration to chemically-sensitive customers, our pure organic towels are not returnable once opened or used. If you are unsure, please get a wash cloth or hand towel to try out before ordering larger sizes or multiples. Closeout items are marked as such on the product pages, and are also non-returnable.

Shipping is non-refundable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
