10oz Organic Flax Linen Fabric

Organic flax linen canvas fabric. Natural unbleached & undyed, which we call Evening Sand Dunes for the natural platinum grey color. The flaxen color may vary from batch to batch as we do not process or dye the fiber or fabric. If the harvest season is rainy, the color of the fabric will tend to be darker / more gray than if it's sunny during the harvest season.

Our organic flax linen fabric is made from 100% organically grown French linen (flax plants).

Chemical-free. Sweatshop-free. The organic flax linen fabric is woven in-house for true purity and environmental sustainability. 78" wide (+/- 5%). Shrinkage of about 3-5% in the length.

The Maple Organic Linen Fabric is suitable for making pants, shorts, curtains, workshop aprons. Many artists have also used our hemp canvas to stretch for artwork.

Please note that the color of unbleached & undyed flax yarns varies from growing season to growing season, depending on the weather (if rainy, a darker grey; if sunny, a lighter grey, sometimes closer to beige).

Very nice

I made a heavy skirt out of this linen. It turned out amazing, the heavier plain weave gives a nice staight sleek silhouette, and was a dream to sew by hand. The spacing between threads is large enough to have been a bit transparent if left in a lighter color(single layer), but after dying it black it is quite opaque. It has held up for serveral rough hand washings and nearly a hundred wears (im not easy on my garments) and still looks nearly new but a bit fuzzy now.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
