Untreated in any way, unbleached & dye-free. This absolutely chemical-free grown & made in USA is a no-frills super-cozy organic wardrobe essential. This lightweight 100% organic cotton hoodie is one of our customers' favorites since 1997. Grown in USA, made in USA. Untreated in any way.

Please check this sizing info if you're new to this item. The fabric and cut drape well so going for the large size is advisable if you normally wear men's small or medium. 2 measurements are given for sleeve length. The first is the length from the shoulder seam to end of sleeve. The second is the length from the collar seam to the end of sleeves

This 100% Organic Cotton Hoodie is made in USA from a lightweight & cozy single jersey outside - French terry inside. Featuring rib knit cuffs & bottom hem. Just the thing for unpretentious strolling on the beach or wearing on a daily basis throughout the year, especially if you live in the Bay Area or a similar coastal spot. Cut on the snug side, our organic hoodie is designed for surfers but suitable for everybody. Super cozy!!! This is an essential necessity in any organic wardrobe - it is untreated, unbleached & undyed. No dioxin, no formaldehyde, just plain old pure elastic-free 100% USA organic cotton goodness.

For the past 26 years we have been getting our cotton from a small certified organic farm in Texas, grown by the same family for over 100 years. For the cotton to be certified organic, the field must have been farmed chemical-free for 3 years. The cotton is ginned at their certified organic gin, and spun into yarn in North Carolina. The products are then sewn for us in South Carolina - for a finished product that is grown and made entirely in the USA.

We are a small company by choice, so that we can continue to make truly organic products sweatshop-free in USA and Europe. As you may know, going big usually means going to China or India where we and our customers would have reservations concerning troubling labor practices and rampant usage of industrial chemicals.

All of our products are made on a small scale with farms and workers that we have worked with since our beginning. This allows us to make innovations like using organic elastic and threads and plastic-free natural buttons developed in-house. And of course there are never any pesticides or industrial chemicals used in growing our fibers or making our products. We serve many chemically sensitive customers, and our world-view has always from the beginning been to protect the environment, animals, and people. That is why we do what we do. And that is why you don’t see greenwashed products such as bamboo and other modern chemical and synthetic fibers at Rawganique.

Shrinks a bit

I like the fabric. It washes well. But it shrinks and the design was already rather short. So expect the sleeves to get even shorter when washed. It’s fine as my go to since I’m more into comfort than fashion but the design is just so so. I wouldn’t buy this particular product again because it shrinks.

Excellent hoodie made in USA

This organic cotton hoodie looks rustic chic - the soft light French terry fabric has unrefined bits of cotton in it which makes for a raw rustic look. I work out and I find that the medium which I would normally wear run a little small in the arms and chest. I was debating whether to exchange it for large but my GF saw it and took it lol so now I’m back to get a large for myself. It’s perfect for spring and fall and is warmer than it looks. I guess that’s from the heat trapping quality of the French terry. I dig that it’s grown in USA and made in USA. How cool is that especially since hardly any clothing is made in the US of A anymore. I feel good buying from this company because of what they stand for.

Lightweight, but warm. My favorite go-to piece from Rawganique! Comfortably cut, generously sized hood & comfy pockets. Great by itself for mild weather, or layered for colder weather. Washed well. I air dried. Next order, I will more than likely order another.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
