A customer favorite since 1997, these organic linen boxers are made with organic linen fabric, organic cotton thread, and no plastic, no polyester, no nylon, no polyamide, no latex, no elastic. This is the purest natural undergarment possible - even sewn with 100% organic cotton (no polyester!) threads. Please read before buying: Do not put this special underwear in the dryer. If you must use a dryer, please choose one of our organic cotton options instead. Untreated natural linen will shrink in the high dry heat of the dryer. Note: Our elastic-free organic linen boxers appear much bigger than elastic-waisted linen boxers because there is no compression at the waist. When in doubt, you can safely go one size down. The fit will be on the roomy side unless you go down one size.

Care
Hand wash in lukewarm water or wash in a laundry net bag on delicate cycle (LUKEWARM water is best, not super tap cold, not warm, not hot; product may shrink or become felted at hot temperatures). Gentle biodegradable detergent only. No fabric softeners, no optical brighteners, no bleach. DO NOT put product in the dryer. Lay flat to dry (for knits) or hang to dry (for woven items). Products may retract slightly after washing. Gently stretch out to shape and steam-iron at the correct fabric settings (wool for merino, linen for hemp and linen), if desired (steam will restore fabric to the soft state in which you received them). At the workshop, we pre-wash our fabrics before cutting and sewing them. Then we steam iron each product. We do not use any wrinkle-proofing or anti-shrinkage or no-iron chemicals in any of our products as these forever chemicals (like PFOA and PFAS) are often toxic and harmful. Amazing!

I’ve been missing out on linen underwear my whole life! They are so breathable, I’ve never had underwear that kept me this cool! Will def be buying more. I was a little upset that there are no returns because the elastic-free style are a little big on me. Would recommend for sure getting a size down from your normal size.

Beautifully made; fabric a bit thick.

The fabric of these was heavier/hotter than I expected. Breathable, but thick-ish. I think they'll be great in cooler weather but not in the summer.

Love my new underwear

I bought these since I couldn’t wear the women’s sizes(to small) so bought these linen boxers. I love them they really do regulate temperature so I do get to warm. I’ve only worn cotton underwear but linen is so much better. I will be purchasing more to replace my cotton ones with linen. Thank you for making them.

the greatest of human achievements

organic linen is the best plant fiber, hands down. humans all over the world have worked hard for eons with the tools they have to make themselves and each other more comfortable. I am convinced that linen and humans share a special bond that cotton and hemp fibers cannot really ever replicate. you know the product was made with love and good materials. all the symbols and packaging make this feel right. ive never been more comfortable in my life. i wanna send all my love and gratitude for this business and this idea

Can't get more comfortable or breathable than thes

I will NEVER wear synthetic or elastic underwear again. These linen boxers are so breathable, cozy, and full of good vibes. Like the other reviewer says, you gotta learn good tying techniques (or get the Mozart boxers with elastic waistband instead). I like the elastic-free version because I can adjust the fit. You have to kind of put your fingers at the front where the strings come out while you draw them tight. Then you distribute the folds around your waist to flatten them. Once I figured it out, then it's super easy to get the right fit every time. Really love them. The color is amazing also.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns Policy

To exchange an item, please return it for refund per the instructions and conditions below and re-order what you would like instead. There is a 5% restocking fee on returns, but not on exchanges for a different size of the same product.

Most products are returnable in original new condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed) within 30 days of receipt for refund. Between 30 - 60 days from receipt, we may accept returns for store credit, only with explicit prior return authorization by email. After 60 days from receipt returns are not accepted.

Cut fabrics, custom production items and made-to-order bedding items, as well as underwear, mouth masks, and anything washed, worn, scented or soiled, for hygiene and in consideration to chemically sensitive customers, are absolutely not returnable. By ordering online, the customer accepts that the seller alone determines whether a return is in acceptable condition.

For example, sheets and blankets that have been taken out of their packaging and all pillows, mattresses, and comforters are not returnable. For reasons of hygiene and in consideration to chemically-sensitive customers, our pure organic towels are not returnable once opened or used. If you are unsure, please get a wash cloth or hand towel to try out before ordering larger sizes or multiples. Closeout items are marked as such on the product pages, and are also non-returnable.

Shipping is non-refundable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
