Please read before buying: Do not put these special socks in the dryer. If you must use a dryer, please choose one of our organic cotton with elastic instead. Merino will shrink in the high dry heat of the dryer. Shrinkage is not a claimable defect (we do not use forever chemicals to shrinkage-proof our products). By purchasing these unique merino socks, you agree to not use the dryer. Wash on gentle cycle in a laundry mesh bag (or by hand) with lukewarm water and a mild biodegradable detergent. Lay flat to dry. Wash as infrequently as possible. Care
Hand wash in lukewarm water or wash in a laundry net bag on delicate cycle (LUKEWARM water is best, not super tap cold, not warm, not hot; product may shrink or become felted at hot temperatures). Gentle biodegradable detergent only. No fabric softeners, no optical brighteners, no bleach. DO NOT put product in the dryer. Lay flat to dry (for knits) or hang to dry (for woven items). Products may retract slightly after washing. Gently stretch out to shape and steam-iron at the correct fabric settings (wool for merino, linen for hemp and linen), if desired (steam will restore fabric to the soft state in which you received them). At the workshop, we pre-wash our fabrics before cutting and sewing them. Then we steam iron each product. We do not use any wrinkle-proofing or anti-shrinkage or no-iron chemicals in any of our products as these forever chemicals (like PFOA and PFAS) are often toxic and harmful. Our special, unique and truly natural 100% organic wool socks may pill, depending on how they are used. They are specialty socks made for those who want organic non-confining socks. They are not designed for active sports or hiking etc. If you aren’t ok with the socks occasionally developing pills which can easily be removed, please order one of our other non-100% organic terry socks.

100% natural organic wool socks are not as long-lasting or robust as wool socks blended with polyamide, elastic and other types of synthetic fibers, which are more suitable for sports activities. We recommend our synthetic-free 100% organic wool socks for normal everyday wearing & sleeping; our truly natural organic wool socks are created for people who are chemically sensitive & those who are averse to chemicals & synthetics. Depending on usage, holes may develop over time. They can simply be mended with needle & thread, or needle felting.

OUTSTANDING!!

These socks are so incredibly comfortable and soft and they keep my feet warm in the cold weather and cool in the warm weather. They don't bind like most socks and they have only the slightest trace of a seam so I would be happy recommending these to diabetics. The organic Merino wool doesn't irritate my skin like synthetic blends do. The toe box is wide so your toes have plenty of room. Please don't ever stop selling these!

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
