This all-natural comforter is made of 100% organic cotton only. Unlike most other comforters sold, our cotton is not treated with any chemicals, bleached, or fumigated. As a result, it retains an initial smell of natural cotton stemming from the natural oils present in the plant fiber. This smell will naturally dissipate over time, with exposure to oxygen. Care: Not machine washable. We recommend that you always encase your organic comforter in a machine-washable duvet cover for protection and long life.
