The allergy-free 100% organic cotton T-shirt is an essential basic in the organic wardrobe. It works as a women’s or men’s cotton shirt with its medium-weight, elastic-free style, grown and made in the U.S. It's a soft and strong comfort cotton T-shirt that is knitted especially for Rawganique.

For the past 26 years we have been getting our cotton from a small certified organic farm in Texas, grown by the same family for over 100 years. For the cotton to be certified organic, the field must have been farmed chemical-free for 3 years. The cotton is ginned at their certified organic gin, and spun into yarn in North Carolina. The products are then sewn for us in South Carolina - for a finished product that is grown and made entirely in the USA.

We are a small company by choice, so that we can continue to make truly organic products sweatshop-free in USA and Europe. As you may know, going big usually means going to China or India where we and our customers would have reservations concerning troubling labor practices and rampant usage of industrial chemicals.

All of our products are made on a small scale with farms and workers that we have worked with since our beginning. This allows us to make innovations like using organic elastic and threads and plastic-free natural buttons developed in-house. And of course there are never any pesticides or industrial chemicals used in growing our fibers or making our products. We serve many chemically sensitive customers, and our world-view has always from the beginning been to protect the environment, animals, and people. That is why we do what we do. And that is why you don’t see greenwashed products such as bamboo and other modern chemical and synthetic fibers at Rawganique.

Note: Because we don't use sizing and stabilizing chemicals, some sizes run a bit small when they come out of the dye wash. We recommend sizing up the colors relative to Natural. We reserve the right to substitute sizes to match the sizing table below.

Care: Wash as you would fine cotton products. Machine wash on gentle/delicate cycle with like colors, using a mild biodegradable detergent. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low. Remove promptly. Steam iron at cotton settings, if desired.

Very nice, worth it for your health

The product is high quality, and the sizing appears to be correct. It is a tiny bit more loose than I expected, but this is a positive as they are more comfortable this way. Better this than having them be constraining. I picked the V-neck option as it doesn't press on the neck at all, so breathing is easier.

Searching through organic clothes, I see a huge focus on the environment, which is important. Yet, it is equally important to be conscious of what's put into our bodies and what we wear on them.

People have a mentality that 'it doesn't cause me issues now, so it is fine', not realizing that every day we are working on our future, and one day they may get a skin condition or other issues due to such neglect.

With this logic in mind, I wanted to highly recommend this product. In my case, resources are a bit tight, but I made a decision to stock up on truly quality clothes, having fewer clothes, but of the best quality.

As for what's advertised, the fabric is indeed raw/undyed, as typical characteristics are noticeable. Tiny darker spots are a testament to this. The fabrics are highly likely to be organic, but I haven't found specific certificates mentioned. I think it is necessary for people to simply research the producer for themselves.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
