Plastic-free 100% hemp lounge shorts - gym shorts - running shorts (lined with inside shorts) that are pure and safe, featuring 100% biodegradable V2 with covered organic elastic waistband (50% organic cotton, 50% natural rubber) and organic cotton sewing thread. 100% organic hemp running shorts, great for all types of fitness, gym, beach-combing activities, and as everyday organic hemp shorts. These popular hemp shorts feature 2 side pockets. Snugger fit. Our organic hemp shorts are super breathable and fast-drying. Dye-free natural or options with biodegradable dyes. Note: Prolonged exposure to highly chlorinated water may degrade the hemp fiber. These shorts are not meant for vigorous or extreme sports, as they do not contain stretchy synthetic fibers. Ocean water is fine. Please read before buying: Do not put these organic hemp shorts in the dryer. These shorts are not shrinkage-proof (which would have required the use of PFAs and other forever chemicals, which we never use in our workshop). Wash in a laundry garment bag using a gentle cycle and mild biodegradable detergent. Lay flat to dry. Steam iron at linen settings, if desired.

V2 (Bio-elastic) of our popular organic hemp shorts features covered waistband with bio organic elastic made from 50% organic cotton & 50% natural rubber, making these unique hemp shorts 100% biodegradable; V1 has the same cut but is made with covered standard elastic waistband.

Our organic hemp sports shorts feature inside organic hemp shorts. These breathable organic hemp shorts (great for all non-extreme kinds of fitness activity) are cut on the snug side so they don't hang loose when you go into the water. While they are popular for casual jogging and all kinds of sports like basketball and volleyball, our hemp shorts are 100% natural and aren't meant for use where constant friction (especially under wet conditions) occurs, as this might cause the hemp fibers to wear out faster from constant rubbing between the thighs.

Please note: This is one of our best selling products ever. Linen and hemp both have texture which their aficionados consider beautiful and amazing (that’s what makes them super breathable and fast drying) but if you are used to polyester and plastic fibers or if you need everything smooth and soft please do not buy this item; it’s not for you. We can hardly make enough for people who need them and who need them in new untried on condition. Please choose our organic cotton styles instead as they will be smoother and softer. Exchanges and returns are costly for all, especially to a small family business like ours (we are charged non-refundable credit card fees and merchant fees for every transaction and we don’t get subsidized shipping from the couriers like big businesses do; they pay almost nothing; it’s small businesses and regular folks who subsidize them). Or buy stuff instead from big box stores; they make things cheaply and have lots of margins while encouraging consumption with free unlimited returns and exchanges. Thank you for your understanding.

These hemp running shorts are naturally UV-resistant, breathable, and quick to dry. Great for beach-combing and occasional swimming, too!!

Care
Machine wash at gentle cycle, using mild biodegradable detergent. Hang or lay flat to dry. If you must, tumble dry on low/gentle cycle; remove before dry. Can be ironed at the highest linen setting.

Returns Policy

Due to the special and unique nature of our plastic-free organic natural products, which have not gone through a chemical or perfume process, there are restrictions on certain categories of returns. Please read before purchasing from us.

A majority of our customers are chemically sensitive and/or highly averse to chemicals, scents and perfumes which may potentially cause severe allergic reactions. Therefore, any products that come into contact with intimate parts and skin are not returnable as we aren’t able to resell them. When customers buy non-returnable items from us, we send them brand new products that have always been in our custody and have not been tried on or been in the possession of other customers.

For bedding, we recommend that customers buy a pillowcase to try out and see if it works for them; we also sell bedding, pillow and comforter samples and swatch books.

We thank you for your understanding and respecting our small scale. We are a small-batch independent producer by choice so that we can offer the purest products available.

Non-returnable items (sorry, we aren’t able to make exceptions, due to hygiene reasons): * Intimate wear (underwear, TINA Bra, ALYSSA Bra and other bras, modesty pads, menstrual pads, socks). We are happy to consult about sizing by email. If you need to return underwear, we recommend that you buy from other merchants that accept returns on underwear. * Bedding and Bath items (bedsheets, towels, pillows, comforters, toppers, mattresses) * Absolutely any items that have been used, washed, stained, scented or contaminated by perfume. * Any marked down, closeout or final sale items.

Items that are returnable must be returned in new original condition within 30 days of receipt. To start a return, sign in to your customer account within 30 days of receipt and submit a return request from your order history.

To exchange an item, please return it per the instructions and conditions below and include a note with what you would like instead. There is a 5% restocking fee on returns, but not on exchanges for a different size or color of the same product.

Most products are returnable in original new condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed) within 30 days of receipt for refund.

Cut fabrics, bedding items (pillows, comforters, toppers, mattresses, sleeping bags), as well as intimate wear (including underwear, modesty pads, TINA Bra, ALYSSA Bra), socks, mouth masks, and anything washed, worn, scented or soiled, for hygiene and in consideration to chemically sensitive customers, are absolutely not returnable. By ordering online the customer accepts that the seller alone determines whether a return is in acceptable condition.

If you are unsure, please order a single item, pillow case, a wash cloth, etc. to try out before ordering larger sizes or multiples; as well, we have sample sizes available to order on the pillows and mattresses pages. Closeout - Final Sale items are marked as such on the product pages, and are also non-returnable (but they can be exchanged in strictly new condition for a different size or color of the same item).

Shipping is non-refundable; we do not provide prepaid return shipping labels. If you return items for exchange for a different size or color of the same style, we will ship the exchange out without extra charge (within the 48 contiguous US states only).

Shipping is non-refundable. We do not provide prepaid return shipping labels.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
