Elastic-free 100% organic hemp boxer shorts with drawstrings. 100% biodegradable: no synthetics, plastic-free carved natural tagua nut buttons, all new production sewn with organic cotton thread (no polyester). Going forward, only Natural and Black Platinum colors, all other colors are available while supplies last only. | Our organic linen and hemp are grown in Europe without chemicals and dew-retted in the fields the traditional way. They are then mechanically combed into beautiful long-strand premium fibers for weaving. These organic linen boxers are made in-house from start to finish for true purity. Most linen and hemp on the market are boiled down with acids and potentially toxic chemicals, then spun cheaply like cotton, taking away the natural resilience and strength traditional linen and hemp fibers are known for. If you are new to hemp or linen and you like soft and smooth, we recommend choosing one of our organic cotton options instead of hemp or linen. Low-rise 100% organic hemp boxers with drawstrings at the waist instead of elastic. The European hemp fabric (which feels similar to linen fabric) softens after the first few washings. Breathable elastic-free hemp boxers that are low-rise, sitting below the waist to clear the waist band of pants & jeans. Wicks away moisture for optimal skin conditions.

The buttons are very special & plastic-free: carved tagua nut buttons from tagua nut trees (this indigenous cash crop helps save the Amazon Rainforest from deforestation due to palm plantations and cattle ranches).

Care
Hand wash in lukewarm water or wash in a laundry net bag on delicate cycle (LUKEWARM water is best, not super tap cold, not warm, not hot; product may shrink or become felted at hot temperatures). Gentle biodegradable detergent only. No fabric softeners, no optical brighteners, no bleach. DO NOT put product in the dryer. Lay flat to dry (for knits) or hang to dry (for woven items). Products may retract slightly after washing. Gently stretch out to shape and steam-iron at the correct fabric settings (wool for merino, linen for hemp and linen), if desired (steam will restore fabric to the soft state in which you received them). At the workshop, we pre-wash our fabrics before cutting and sewing them. Then we steam iron each product. We do not use any wrinkle-proofing or anti-shrinkage or no-iron chemicals in any of our products as these forever chemicals (like PFOA and PFAS) are often toxic and harmful. Seems Splits Very Quickly

While the overall materials are quality, the assembly of these seems to lack the same quality. I wore them twice and inside of them, seems started splitting. Mind you, I definitely got a size that fits me well and by no means are too tight. I wrote to them about these concerns and followed up 10 days later and they did not respond to either inquiry. Quiet disappointing.

On my husband's behalf

I got these for my husband and am writing this review from his experience of them, not mine. He said he likes them okay. He obviously loves how healthy and natural they are but wishes they were smaller and not one sized fits all because he's your average size and not a huge guy. They did come rather large but the drawstring is supposed to help with that. He had to kind of work with them and his belt to make sure they didn't sag down throughout the day. I'd say, overall, he's happy but not over the moon. If they were more fitting he would be over the moon.

Perfect boxers!

Having a drawstring instead of an elastic is a great plus for me. The get much softer after some washing. The undyed model is great. Wish the tags were on the outside, I find it somewhat irritating on the inside, plus, tags do not look organic to me ;).

Great texture and weight!

Perfect summer boxers, hemp is the best for keeping you feeling dry even when you're sweaty. Love the weight and drape on these, the undyed color is beautiful. Reinforced but was a surprise, but is actually really comfortable. Wish they didn't have the stupid polyester tags on the outside, but oh well you can cut those off ;)

Returns & Exchanges

Returns Policy

To exchange an item, please return it for refund per the instructions and conditions below and re-order what you would like instead. There is a 5% restocking fee on returns, but not on exchanges for a different size of the same product.

Most products are returnable in original new condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed) within 30 days of receipt for refund. Between 30 - 60 days from receipt, we may accept returns for store credit, only with explicit prior return authorization by email. After 60 days from receipt returns are not accepted.

Cut fabrics, custom production items and made-to-order bedding items, as well as underwear, mouth masks, and anything washed, worn, scented or soiled, for hygiene and in consideration to chemically sensitive customers, are absolutely not returnable. By ordering online, the customer accepts that the seller alone determines whether a return is in acceptable condition.

For example, sheets and blankets that have been taken out of their packaging and all pillows, mattresses, and comforters are not returnable. For reasons of hygiene and in consideration to chemically-sensitive customers, our pure organic towels are not returnable once opened or used. If you are unsure, please get a wash cloth or hand towel to try out before ordering larger sizes or multiples. Closeout items are marked as such on the product pages, and are also non-returnable.

Shipping is non-refundable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
