Elastic-free 100% organic hemp boxer shorts with drawstrings. 100% biodegradable: no synthetics, plastic-free carved natural tagua nut buttons, all new production sewn with organic cotton thread (no polyester). Going forward, only Natural and Black Platinum colors, all other colors are available while supplies last only. | Our organic linen and hemp are grown in Europe without chemicals and dew-retted in the fields the traditional way. They are then mechanically combed into beautiful long-strand premium fibers for weaving. These organic linen boxers are made in-house from start to finish for true purity. Most linen and hemp on the market are boiled down with acids and potentially toxic chemicals, then spun cheaply like cotton, taking away the natural resilience and strength traditional linen and hemp fibers are known for. Please read before buying: Do not put these special boxers in the dryer. If you must use a dryer, please choose one of our organic cotton options instead. Untreated natural linen will shrink in the high dry heat of the dryer. Shrinkage is not a claimable defect (we do not use forever chemicals to shrinkage-proof our products). Wash on gentle cycle in a laundry mesh bag (or by hand) with lukewarm water and mild biodegradable detergent and hang to dry or line-dry. Do not use bleach and do not use fabric softeners. Low-rise 100% organic hemp boxers with drawstrings at the waist instead of elastic. The European hemp fabric (which feels similar to linen fabric) softens after the first few washings. Breathable elastic-free hemp boxers that are low-rise, sitting below the waist to clear the waist band of pants & jeans. Wicks away moisture for optimal skin conditions.

The buttons are very special & plastic-free: carved tagua nut buttons from tagua nut trees (this indigenous cash crop helps save the Amazon Rainforest from deforestation due to palm plantations and cattle ranches).

Care
Hand wash in lukewarm water or wash in a laundry net bag on delicate cycle (LUKEWARM water is best, not super tap cold, not warm, not hot; product may shrink or become felted at hot temperatures). Gentle biodegradable detergent only. No fabric softeners, no optical brighteners, no bleach. DO NOT put product in the dryer. Lay flat to dry (for knits) or hang to dry (for woven items). Products may retract slightly after washing. Gently stretch out to shape and steam-iron at the correct fabric settings (wool for merino, linen for hemp and linen), if desired (steam will restore fabric to the soft state in which you received them). At the workshop, we pre-wash our fabrics before cutting and sewing them. Then we steam iron each product. We do not use any wrinkle-proofing or anti-shrinkage or no-iron chemicals in any of our products as these forever chemicals (like PFOA and PFAS) are often toxic and harmful. On my husband's behalf

I got these for my husband and am writing this review from his experience of them, not mine. He said he likes them okay. He obviously loves how healthy and natural they are but wishes they were smaller and not one sized fits all because he's your average size and not a huge guy. They did come rather large but the drawstring is supposed to help with that. He had to kind of work with them and his belt to make sure they didn't sag down throughout the day. I'd say, overall, he's happy but not over the moon. If they were more fitting he would be over the moon.

Perfect boxers!

Having a drawstring instead of an elastic is a great plus for me. The get much softer after some washing. The undyed model is great. Wish the tags were on the outside, I find it somewhat irritating on the inside, plus, tags do not look organic to me ;).

Great texture and weight!

Perfect summer boxers, hemp is the best for keeping you feeling dry even when you're sweaty. Love the weight and drape on these, the undyed color is beautiful. Reinforced but was a surprise, but is actually really comfortable. Wish they didn't have the stupid polyester tags on the outside, but oh well you can cut those off ;)

Comfortable and fit well.

I was told to order a size smaller for a slim fit and it worked. They do seem huge, to fit over your hips, but then sinch them up and they fit great. Not having elastic doesn't bother me, these were my first elastic free boxers. The fabric feels a little heavy but I've only worn them twice. I'm sure they will soften up. Thanks for the great boxers!

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
