Saying that this special raw untreated hemp/linen bag is very strong and durable as far as natural fiber is concerned is not an invitation to try to push the limit of what this bag can do. If you routinely carry heavy loads and go on rough and tumble adventures or do extreme outdoors sports then this bag isn’t for you. It’s not going to be comparable to polyester and microfiber and ripstop fabric made by companies that mass produce bags with high margins and for which they can guarantee replacement. This bag is of handmade value and as natural as a bag of this type can be and should be treated as such: Rare and special.

I’ll never have to buy another backpack

Thanks to this well constructed bag, I’ll never have to buy another backpack. Ever. I waxed mine per customer service suggestion so it’s waterproof too. Took ten minutes and now I have a heavenly waterproof hemp bag. I’m still amazed that such a small company can make what I consider the ultimate eco backpack. The stitching, the seam, the raw fabric and the little perfect imperfections in the weave are all testament to the quality that is almost unheard of nowadays. Very reasonable price for what you get. Sweatshop-free.

Beautiful craftsmanship

Really happy with this. The design language is simple, zen, classy, elegant. Super strong - the stiff canvas is gorgeous. Just amazing to look at and amazing to use. Holds up the shape well. This is my favorite backpack ever and it is handmade of hemp!

Great artisan handmade backpack.

My travel companion

When I first got the backpack it seemed to be a bit on the small side compared to the current on I had. Boy was I wrong once I got it opened up and filled with goods. It is super sturdy with tons of room and has it's own weight. I traveled between the U.S., South and Central America with it and it looks as good as day one. This is just over 3 months later. The only drawback, I'd say, is that the shoulder straps sometimes dig into me since I have it packed to the brim with books and a laptop. Once I lighten my load, I imagine it will be even better. The quality is fantastic and I never tire of looking at it either. I'd purchase it again without a doubt if need be. Thank you.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns Policy

To exchange an item, please return it for refund per the instructions and conditions below and re-order what you would like instead. There is a 5% restocking fee on returns, but not on exchanges for a different size of the same product.

Most products are returnable in original new condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed) within 30 days of receipt for refund. Between 30 - 60 days from receipt, we may accept returns for store credit, only with explicit prior return authorization by email. After 60 days from receipt returns are not accepted.

Cut fabrics, custom production items and made-to-order bedding items, as well as underwear, mouth masks, and anything washed, worn, scented or soiled, for hygiene and in consideration to chemically sensitive customers, are absolutely not returnable. By ordering online, the customer accepts that the seller alone determines whether a return is in acceptable condition.

For example, sheets and blankets that have been taken out of their packaging and all pillows, mattresses, and comforters are not returnable. For reasons of hygiene and in consideration to chemically-sensitive customers, our pure organic towels are not returnable once opened or used. If you are unsure, please get a wash cloth or hand towel to try out before ordering larger sizes or multiples. Closeout items are marked as such on the product pages, and are also non-returnable.

Shipping is non-refundable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

International Orders

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

If this is your first order from Rawganique.com, we do accept orders from outside the US upon prepayment by direct bank transfer only at this time. If you’d like to place an order, please email us the shipping country/province, so that we can add it to the list of shipping destinations in our cart for you to place the order.

Please choose only ‘Money Order’ (not credit card, since it will be refunded and you will lose potentially significant currency conversion fees). Then we’ll email you the bank info to send the payment to, and once received, we’ll ship the order.
