Hemp & Llama Wool Roving

Organic hemp & cruelty-free organic llama hand-spun yarn, ready for knitting or any other project you have in mind. First the organic hemp fiber and raw llama are hand-carded and blended using traditional wooden tools, then the fibers are spun and finally wound on to the weasel.

Super special hand-carded organic European hemp & cruelty-free llama one-ply handspun yarn for all your knitting, crocheting and weaving projects. It's all hand made: hand-picked, hand-washed (using our very own Rawganique soap!), hand-carded and handspun with heritage wooden tools. It is then wound in a traditional wooden weasel to arrive at a beautifully soft and gorgeous yarn that is perfect for a cozy sweater, gloves, scarves, and more.

The llama is organic and local, shorn from rescued pet llamas right here on Denman Island.

The childrens' song "Pop goes the weasel" comes from this wooden weasel; after about 100 revolutions, the weasel pops, letting us know that the skein is ready.

$15 for 50 grams. Approximately 240 feet. The hemp - llama roving top - spun knitting & weaving yarn is perfect for making non-toxic organic children's toys and cat and dog toys as well. 40% local organic llama - 60% organic European hemp.

Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
