Composition: The terry loops are 100% organically grown European flax linen. The sock composition is 99% organic linen, with 0.95% natural sustainable wood fiber used for backing (required to make the terry, and 0.05% elastic of a couple of strands at the cuff and toe to hold the socks up). A couple strands of stretchable elastic sewing thread connects the cuff to the main body of the sock to allow the foot to get in. And another strand at the toe seam to allow toes to wiggle. Vegan organic socks cannot get purer, thicker, cozier, or plusher than these utterly unique and natural organic French flax linen terry socks. Customers with contact dermatitis can wear the socks with the cuff folded down or wear them inside out so as not to touch the sewing thread.

Not designed for high-impact sports uses, as they do not have reinforced nylon or polyamide fibers. They are meant for everyday wear, especially for people who prefer breathable all-natural socks

Care
Hand wash in lukewarm water or wash in a laundry net bag on delicate cycle (LUKEWARM water is best, not super tap cold, not warm, not hot; product may shrink or become felted at hot temperatures). Gentle biodegradable detergent only. No fabric softeners, no optical brighteners, no bleach. DO NOT put product in the dryer. Lay flat to dry (for knits) or hang to dry (for woven items). Products may retract slightly after washing. Gently stretch out to shape and steam-iron at the correct fabric settings (wool for merino, linen for hemp and linen), if desired (steam will restore fabric to the soft state in which you received them). At the workshop, we pre-wash our fabrics before cutting and sewing them. Then we steam iron each product. We do not use any wrinkle-proofing or anti-shrinkage or no-iron chemicals in any of our products as these forever chemicals (like PFOA and PFAS) are often toxic and harmful. Our special, unique and truly natural 100% organic linen terry socks may pill, depending on how they are used. They are specialty socks made for those who want organic non confining socks. They are not designed for active sports or hiking etc. If you aren’t ok with the socks occasionally developing pills which can easily be removed, please order one of our other non 100% organic terry socks. We aren’t able to make refunds on socks.

Do they look super stylish? No. Do they look like the socks your grandfather wore? Yes. Are they the most comfortable, somehow both warm and cool, not too tight but not too loose socks you'll ever own? Definitely.

I am one of these people who love to wear non binding, non elastic socks to bed that are made from organic natural material that breathes. These socks fit the bill. I am sure they would be great to wear any time of day, too!

Searching through organic clothes, I see a huge focus on the environment, which is important. Yet, it is equally important to be conscious of what's put into our bodies and what we wear on them.

People have a mentality that 'it doesn't cause me issues now, so it is fine', not realizing that every day we are working on our future, and one day they may get a skin condition or other issues due to such neglect.

With this logic in mind, I wanted to highly recommend this product. In my case, resources are a bit tight, but I made a decision to stock up on truly quality clothes, having fewer clothes, but of the best quality.

I'm so glad that I was about to remember and find this vendor so I could buy these great socks again.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns Policy

To exchange an item, please return it for refund per the instructions and conditions below and re-order what you would like instead. There is a 5% restocking fee on returns, but not on exchanges for a different size of the same product.

Most products are returnable in original new condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed) within 30 days of receipt for refund. Between 30 - 60 days from receipt, we may accept returns for store credit, only with explicit prior return authorization by email. After 60 days from receipt returns are not accepted.

Cut fabrics, custom production items and made-to-order bedding items, as well as underwear, mouth masks, and anything washed, worn, scented or soiled, for hygiene and in consideration to chemically sensitive customers, are absolutely not returnable. By ordering online, the customer accepts that the seller alone determines whether a return is in acceptable condition.

For example, sheets and blankets that have been taken out of their packaging and all pillows, mattresses, and comforters are not returnable. For reasons of hygiene and in consideration to chemically-sensitive customers, our pure organic towels are not returnable once opened or used. If you are unsure, please get a wash cloth or hand towel to try out before ordering larger sizes or multiples. Closeout items are marked as such on the product pages, and are also non-returnable.

Shipping is non-refundable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
