Organic Cotton Corduroy Pants / Flat Front Chinos

• How are your RG662 organic corduroy pants different? They are made from 100% certified organic cotton corduroy fabric, without any polyester, lycra, or latex (most cords are made with a mixture of synthetic yarns). They are made by Rawganique in Europe under sweatshop-free conditions. Absolutely no heavy metals or harsh chemicals were used in their production. The cords are baby-ribbed, which makes for a very elegant, heritage, and cozy look and feel. And with our unique flat front chino cut, these organic cotton corduroy chinos are perfect as organic riding pants as well (depending on how hard you ride, they may wear through sooner than if they had synthetics in them, but our priorities are purity and sustainability; that's why we made them in the first place without any synthetics).
  
  
• Do you have jackets to go with them to make an organic cotton corduroy suit? Yes! We have the RG592 Organic Cotton Corduroy Blazer as well as RG704 Organic Cotton Corduroy Jacket (lined with organic flannel) in the matching Earth Brown color for a complete outfit. As our organic cord pants are good for either dressy or casual wearing, they match both the cord dress jacket and cord winter jacket very well. • What if I need size 36x34? Since the legs of our organic cord pants are straight, you would get the 36x36 and simply hem them up to your desired inseam. Be sure to wash your new cord pants a couple of times to get the shrinkage settled before hemming. Please note: only wash your cords if you are sure you're keeping them as products that have been washed are not returnable.
  
  
• How do I care for my new cords? Our organic cotton corduroy pants are machine washable with like colors, using a gentle biodegradable detergent. Best to turn inside out before putting into washer. Front loading washer preferred for longest life. Hang to dry (do not machine dry as you'll lose the lint and coziness to the machine). Steam. Or iron inside out to preserve the fabric.

We were very excited when we heard that our weaver could do organic cotton corduroy, as we've long been wanting to do corduroy shirts and corduroy chinos. Mainstream corduroy fabrics usually have 10% polyester in them, but we decided that ours would just be made of 100% organic cotton for true purity.

The RG662 Organic Cotton Corduroy pants are cut in the classic flat front chinos styling: always hip, always good-looking. Because of the resemblance to the heritage styling of British riding pants, many customers have been using our organic cotton corduroy chinos for horseback riding too.

Ecru Chocolate color. The legs are straight so those needing a 34x34, for example, would just get the 34x36 and hem the pants up to the desired inseam length. Be sure to wash the pants a couple of times first though to allow for shrinkage before making alterations.
