It could be birds singing in the canopy of 1000-year-old cedar trees, the sound of water rushing over rocks in a meandering creek, warm light filtering through deciduous trees in the heat of summer, verdant forests and snow-capped mountain peaks as far as the eye can see. All of these and more are perfect in their tranquility because they are part of the natural world: vast and infinite, yet abundantly sustainable.

It is yet another sustainably made product in our line of clothing inspired by yoga and meditation and tranquility of the East.

The RG3080 Tranquility Hemp Shirt features a classic India collar (it's seamed to stand up as a button-free banded collar with a V slit) that does quite well in dressy situations. It substitutes for regular shirts for those needing to wear shirts for work but who are looking for a more gentle, alternative look. It can also be worn with casual pants and jeans.

Made from a 6 oz/sq. yard hemp fabric from organically grown European hemp. The RG3080 Tranquility Hemp Shirt is not made in a factory (so it is sweatshop-free): instead, it's made by sew-at-home Thai artisans in their 50's and 60's who get to stay home with their families and earn higher-than-average income. Note: there is no word for hemp in their language (in contradistinction to marijuana) so the label says linen for the linen construction of the hemp fabric.

Care note: Machine or hand-wash cold and hang dry (machine drying not recommended).
