Our Organic Cotton Comforter and Organic Cotton & Wool Comforter for infants are lightweight yet provide the perfect amount of sleeping comfort for your beloved little one every month of the year. The soft organic cotton cover is quilted to the pure wool filling to ensure that it will not migrate to the corners. The organic cotton cover is silky to the touch, so that no matter how sensitive your child's skin is, s/he will be able to sleep soundly wrapped in our organic comforter.

Why organic cotton?? Because conventional accounts for 275 million pounds of pesticide use a year (bad for people, bad for the environment) and because conventional cotton is now grown mostly from genetically modified seeds (GMO's). The manufacturing of conventional cotton products also often involve highly toxic chemicals that will keep outgassing for years, which not only might disturb your sleep but may also pose danger to your health. Our organic cotton, hemp, and linen products are free of any toxic, pesticides, chemicals, or genetically modified crop, so you can be sure that your rest is peaceful and pure.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Air comforter twice a year by hanging outside in the fresh air
• Use of a comforter cover is recommended
• Do not wash
• Your organic comforter should be kept away from any source of moisture as well as from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Please note: You will notice that we make our organic cotton comforters 4 inches wider than the width of our organic cotton, linen, or hemp comforter covers (also called duvet covers) to better anchor the comforter inside the comforter cover. Once you put the organic cotton comforter inside the comforter cover and hold it end to end and give it a little shake, the four extra inches are then evenly distributed (hence "anchored") inside the cover and won't move as much as they would if there are no extra inches.
