  They are very rare; in fact, we are the only place on earth that makes them. It's a bit heavy in weight but very warm. Cozy like a big towel, except it's a blanket that breathes well and provides a lot of warmth, thanks to linen's hollow core, which acts as a great insulator using your own body heat to warm you. Warm enough as a stand-alone layer on top of you. For those who might find the weight too heavy, we recommend our organic cotton, hemp knit, or wool blankets. No heavy metals or harsh chemicals were used in their production.
  
  Our Organic Linen Terry Blankets are heavy in weight because of the substantial weight of the flax yarn. If you prefer a lighter weight but equally warm top layer, we recommend our Euro-Luxury Organic Wool Comforter.
